Somu Solvents Pvt. Ltd. was established as a small scale industry in 1984 with a small distillation unit of 200 liters capacity in an industrial shed at Veerasandra industrial estate, Bangalore. Within a short span of time we had established to manufacture Glycol Ether Acetates and Specialty Solvents for Paints and Coating Industries with a capacity of 600 MTPA.

To meet further growing demand for the products, a new grass root plant was established at Hosakote Industrial Estate near Bangalore with a manufacturing capacity of 6000 MTPA in the year 2009.
